About LeeBiography:I was born in North London where I lived until the age of 14 when I moved to live in Malta. I then lived between Malta and the UK until I settled back in London in 2002. Having a love for design I decided it made sense to pursue this as a career so began studying in web design where I obtained an OCR Level 2 in Web Page Design and a NCFE Level 2 in Multi Media. Alongside this I studied in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Director, XHTML, CSS and basic Actionscript as well as design principles, with particular focus on website design and usability. Whilst studying I wanted to gain some practical, hands on experience so I managed to secure some work experience, as a junior designer, with companies which included The BBC and Walt Disney in their Internet Group. Once I started working in the industry as a freelancer I worked for design agencies Banner, EHS Brann, The Digi Deli & 3PIN as well as a company called Digital Annexe (who were responsible for creating all the content on the UK Mercedes-Benz website) and CNET (one of the UK’s leading technology media companies). In March 2007 I moved out to Spain with my wife and whilst preparing to set up our own agency I worked part time for a local graphic design company based on the Mijas Costa. In October 2007 my wife, Stefana Attard, and I set up our web and graphic design agency Aqua Creative. Aims / Goals for Aqua Creative:To make sure our clients have a strong design that reflects their company and services. To become recognised within the design field and inspire others. Best Achievement:Aqua Creative, 10 meter swimming certificate and daughter, Keira Attard Hobbies / Interests:Design, Drawing, Animation, Thai Boxing, Boxing, Swimming, Running, Gym, TV, Holidays, Eating and family time. Favourite Quote:Creativity is a process, not a moment. Secret to Success:Passion for what I do, always studying to improve my skills & knowledge and constantly reviewing and comparing my work to that of the best designers out there. |
